Yummy and healthy biscuits made with whole wheat
Whole wheat biscuits are healthy and loaded with fiber. It is an easy to make biscuit with no eggs. I have added cinnamon powder to this biscuit to get a nice aroma. You can also check for some kids special snacks like whole wheat crispy puri,milk cake,banana walnut cake,beetroot murukku,ribbon murukku etc… Hope you all will like this recipes.
How to make Whole Wheat Biscuits?
- 1 cup of whole wheat atta
- 100g of butter
- 1 spn. of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 spn. of cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp. of sugar
- A pinch of salt
Sieve baking powder and whole wheat atta together in a bowl.
Add chopped butter and mix well with hand(it will take around 5 minutes). Then add powdered sugar,salt and cinnamon powder.
Add milk little by little and knead to a smooth cookie dough consistency.
Preheat oven 180 degree
In a chapathi roller ,spread some atta and roll to 1/4 cm inch thickness.
Cut the biscuits in to desired shapes(I made some dots on top with fork). Sprinkle sugar on top and bake it for 7-8 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
