Kids breakfast menu – poha (beaten rice), pomegranate dates and orange juice. This is the second day of my kids breakfast menu week. First day breakfast menu was Set Dosa and Roasted gram chutney. Today I would like to share one healthy upma recipe with poha/beaten rice/aval.
Beaten rice is very healthy and nutritious. Poha Upma with fried potatoes and onion but you can also add carrots, beans, green peas etc. The Nice aroma of fried potatoes brings a delicious taste to this upma. How to make Poha Upma?
Ingredients
- 2 cup of Poha/Beaten rice
- 2 no of potato
- 1 no of onion
- 1/4 spn. of turmeric powder
- 2 no of green chillies(optional)
- 1/2 spn. of mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp. of curry leaves
- 1 tbsp. of oil
- Salt for taste
