Pepper chicken fry recipe with very few ingredients. This is a slow cooker recipe that makes the chicken very soft and tender. We can serve this semi gravy with ghee rice, chapathi, paratha etc… I have already tried two version of this recipe pepper chicken dry, pepper chicken gravy and Chinese pepper chicken. Compared to other chicken fry recipes, spice level of this pepper chicken is high and the chicken is cooked in pressure cooker. Slow cook make this fry soft and tender. This chicken fry goes well with any kind of flavored rice, roti, chapathi etc.

Ingredients
1/2 kg of chicken(large pieces preferred )
1 tbsp. of Pepper powder
1 spn. of turmeric powder
1/4 spn. of chilli powder
1 tbsp. of Ginger garlic paste
1 no of chopped onion
1-2 no of green chillies
A handful of curry leaves
3-4 piece of red chillies
1 spn. of lemon juice
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. of Oil
Method
Step 01
Marinate chicken pieces with pepper powder,turmeric powder,lemon juice and salt. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
Step 02
Heat oil in a pan.
Step 03
Add chopped onion,green chillies and curry leaves. Saute for only 1 minute.
Step 04
Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off.
Step 05
Add marinated chicken pieces and mix well. Add 2 tbsp. of water
Step 06
Cover the lid and cook in very low flame 3 whistle.
Step 07
Remove from flame. Do not release the air from cooker. Wait till it goes and serve hot.
