Spongy soft egg paratha recipe with whole wheat

Egg Paratha or Baida Roti is a delicious, traditional breakfast item of Indian cuisine especially North India. Its my father who introduced this paratha in our family. He used to make this dish for EID. I still remember the way he is making the paratha. He is a perfectionist in cooking.

Compared to all other paratha recipes like aloo paratha, paneer paratha there is no need of making any masala for this egg paratha recipe. Just make a egg onion mix and pour over chapathi, fold and cook in low flame. Egg paratha is often made with all purpose flour (maida). I agreeĀ  that egg paratha made with maida is more softer than whole wheat paratha. But as a maida hater, I made this paratha using whole wheat. It is always better to replace all purpose flour with whole wheat in your recipes.

Hope you all will like this egg paratha recipe. Please try it out and let me know how it turned out for you.
